ACADEMIC TUTORING:

ART, Exploration of Art Mediums:

  • Description: This class will focus on exploring different art mediums such as pencil charcoal, watercolor, and acrylics.

ART, Visual Arts:

  • Description: Students will explore and create art forms that are primarily visual in nature such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, and more.

BALLROOM, Intro Into Ballroom Dance:

  • Taught by: Joshua Reich

  • Description: An hour-long class, focused on partner-based dances. The dances will be split into three week increments and will include Ballroom Dances (Waltz, Night-club two-step, and tango), Swing Dances (East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, and Hussle), and Latin Dances (Salsa, Merengue, and Cha-Cha). The curriculum will be based on learning how the dance is lead and followed, not choreography.

BAKING CLASS:

  • Description: Students learn to bake with wholesome, fresh ingredients and natural sweeteners like agave and maple syrup. They bake a new creation each week and take home what they’ve made for the rest of the family to share!

CAMP WEEKs (Monthly 3 Day Camp):

  • When: Tuesday-Thursday 9AM-1PM
  • Description: Join us during the off-week of school. Students will participate in various activities including playing outdoors, tending the garden, art activities, story time, daily meal/snack creations using items from the garden when available, swimming (weather permitting), financial literacy games, fun math games, and much more. Students are free to bring their own games as well.

Chess Club:

Constitution and Freedom:

  • Description: Come and learn principles of freedom! Learn basic principles of government and freedom. Learn the Constitution. Study the documents the founders studied to crate the Constitution.

Dessert Decorating Basics:

  • Description: This class is all about dessert decorating where students learn different techniques and designs. They will learn how to decorate and ice cakes and cupcakes, make chocolate designs using molds, make edible figures, and so much more.

Dinner Making Class:

  • Cost: $125/month for 1st student makes 4 meals, $65 for each additional sibling adding two meals each (supplies included)

  • Description: Students make a meal and get to take it home. Then, one Friday per month, they get to stay and have a game/movie night with other students.

ETIQUETTE & SOCIAL SKILLS:

GARDEN CLUB:

  • Description: We want to create happier, healthier kids learning in the garden and connection to nature. Gardening improves kids’ lives,  their communities, and the planet. Gardening engages every child’s innate wonder and care for the natural world, offers them opportunities to participate in hands-on learning, and teaches them where their food comes from.

HORSEMANSHIP:

  • Description: Learn to safely catch, lead, groom, saddle, and ride horses.

Littles Literacy Club:

  • Description: LLC is for beginner and emerging readers who need more assistance with reading skills. In this club we will dive into the foundations of reading in a more one on one/smaller group setting.

Music (Creative Music For Children):

  • Description: Students will learn about composers, music theory, cultural music, musical instruments, and story telling through music in a fun exciting environment. All students attend class from 1:30-2:00. Students ages 3-7 are dismissed at 2:00.

SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL:

SPANISH, Conversational Spanish for Beginners:

  • Description: This class is focused on basic conversational Spanish and is ideal for families who want to share a new experience with their children. We will cover different topics of conversation and start out with basic words.

STAGECRAFT:

  • Description: Students will help design the props, sets, and costumes for the spring Shakespeare festival. They will also have the opportunity to be on the stage crew during the shows.
