ACADEMIC TUTORING:

Baking Class:

  • Description: Students learn to bake with wholesome, fresh ingredients and natural sweeteners. They will bake a new creation each week and take home what they’ve made for the rest of the family to share!

CAMP WEEKs (Monthly 3 Day Camp, During School Year):

  • Description: Join us during the off-week of school. Students will participate in various activities including playing outdoors, tending the garden, art activities, story time, daily meal/snack creations using items from the garden when available, swimming (weather permitting), financial literacy games, fun math games, and much more. Students are free to bring their own games as well.

Chess Club:

Craft Class:

  • Description: Be part of the Make Stuff Class! Tinkering, Yarn, Origami, Kitchen crafts and more.

Creative Writing:

  • Description: Students will develop a practice of daily writing and creativity. They will learn the technical details for creative writing in novel writing, short stories, poetry, creative non-fiction, and more. They will discuss their writing and get feedback on different aspects of their work and writing. They will also have the opportunity to create a website and show off their writing.

Constitution & Freedom Class:

  • Description: Learn the Constitution, Public Speaking, and Simulations

Dessert Decorating:

  • Lead By: Yanina Medina
  • Age: 5-12

  • Cost: $80/month
  • Description: This class is all about dessert decorating where students learn different techniques and designs. They will learn how to decorate and ice cakes and cupcakes, make chocolate designs using molds, make edible figures, and so much more.

Dinner Making Class:

  • Cost: $75/month (includes ingredients; $62/month for second student in a family; $45 for one class, no second child discount.

  • Description: Each student will make a meal for 4 people and take it home. Once a month, they will stay and have a movie/game night with other students until 8pm.

Drama CLUB:

Gardening:

  • Description: We want to create happier, healthier kids by learning in the garden and connecting to nature. Gardening improves kids’ lives, their communities, and the planet. Gardening engages every child’s innate wonder and care for the natural world, offer them opportunities to participate in hands on learning, and teaches them where their food comes from.

HORSEMANSHIP:

  • Description: Learn to safely catch, lead, groom, saddle, and ride horses.

Little’s Literacy Club:

  • Description: LLC is for beginning and emerging readers who need more assistance with reading skills. In this club, we will dive into the foundations of reading in a more one on one/smaller group setting.

Spanish:

  • Description: This class is taught with the highly acclaimed Michel Thomas Method audio course. Students can move from beginner to confident speaker – all without books, homework, or having to memorize anything. The Michel Thomas Method is the fastest and most effective way to learn a new language. Students will learn Spanish naturally by listening and speaking, gradually building their confidence and increasing their fluency.

Stop Motion Video:

  • Description: You will be learning how to create stop-motions, edit and animate the video. Each student should bring a device with the Stop Motion Studio app installed on it, and a notebook.
