CRAFTING CLASS

GARDENING CLUB

  • Description: We want to create happier, healthier kids by learning in the garden and connecting to nature. Gardening improves kids’ lives, their communities, and the planet. Gardening engages every child’s innate wonder and care for the natural world, offer them opportunities to participate in hands on learning, and teaches them where their food comes from.

 

CREATIVE WRITING CLASS

  • Description: Students will develop a practice of daily writing and creativity. They will learn the technical details for creative writing in novel writing, short stories, poetry, creative non-fiction, and more. They will discuss their writing and get feedback on different aspects of their work and writing. They will also have the opportunity to create a website and show off their writing.

 

WEDNESDAY ELECTIVE

DRAMA CLUB

BAKING CLASS

CAMP WEEKs (Monthly 3 Day Camp last block of the month)

  • Time: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Description: Join us during the off-week of school. Students will participate in various activities including playing outdoors, tending the garden, art activities, story time, daily meal/snack creations using items from the garden when available, swimming (weather permitting), financial literacy games, fun math games, and much more. Students are free to bring their own games as well.

 

MATH MENTORING

    • Starts Friday after the first block of AFE

DINNER MAKING CLASS

  • Description: Students learn how to sanitize areas, prepare food, and clean up after
    themselves as they go. They bring home dinner for the next day, as well as a recipe for the family. See flyer for meal & movie.
