I needed some help with my homeschool. We were in a rut and unable to find our way out. We also needed a sense of community; the last few years saw us increasingly secluded. American Family Education has been a blessing to us. My children are finding their love of learning again, and they are excited to go to classes and see friends. The teachers are kind and loving, and make sure that any gaps in my kids’ knowledge are not ridiculed but filled. They aren’t made to feel less. I love that they aren’t trying to take the place of homeschooling, but work to maintain the importance of the family’s teaching. We have felt supported every step of the way.

I didn’t think a place like this could exist. It is a home and a school. It takes work, and growth and learning, and I have loved it. My children enjoyed the classes, and loved going to the activities. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my children to grow.

It always amazes me when I have seen poor reviews, for I have always had an incredible experience with this place. It really is a space to create one’s own education, and I have loved the effects on my kids. I love the gardens, the pool, the different activities, and how hard the teachers work to help individual students. My kids love it, and never want to leave. On days they don’t have class, they ask when they get to go back and see their friends. I tried homeschooling, and co-ops, and public schools, and charter, but this is the best thing I have found out of all of them.
Absolutely amazing teachers. I am so thankful my kids have the opportunity to experience the hands on mentorship and encouragement.
Wonderful families and kids. The electives are a wide variety. I love how the school prepares kids to achieve their goals.

All 4 of our kids loved attending AFE! And as a parent I loved that they were so eager to go and enjoyed learning all the different things that were being taught. One of our sons has some emotional struggles that can be overwhelming in the classroom, but his teacher was so patient and understanding with him & I’m so grateful to her for that.
